iPower at the V&A Museum

The Victoria & Albert Museum, London recently invited iPower Cordless Lighting to create some bespoke shades to be used at the launch of their British Design Exhibition which celebrates the best of British Design from 1948 to the present day.

The Museum chose the simple crystal Versailles lamp base to set off the chic patterned shade. The shades were hand made from designer fabric and complimented the orange tablecloths. Even Bertie the Bulldog adorned a shade and stylishly stood at the bar and was an immediate hit with guests, which included great British Designers such as; Terence Conran. The whole event had a 60’s vibe with Mustard Catering providing the food.
